What struck us about Dr. Andrew Johnson was his diverse range of specialties, which include hip and knee replacements and orthopaedic oncology (bone tumors).
His work at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in London equipped him to handle such cases with little to no issue.
We admire his ability to clearly and simply explain complex procedures like anterior hip surgery. Patients also love how he walks them through each step of the process.
Moreover, we value his bedside manner. He is friendly and kind and always makes his patients laugh, even on bad days.
We also appreciated the breadth of his practice, which included expertise in adult joint issues and pediatric tumor cases.
If we had to point out a downside, it would be the appointment wait times. Many told us it was frustrating to wait in the waiting room for 30 minutes or more.

We love how Dr. Stephen Walsh covers everything from shoulders to feet. But it’s his specialty in sports injuries that makes him really stand out.
His experience heading the Sports Medicine Fellowship to create targeted treatment plans for sports-related injuries is impressive. Many of his patients said he provides a clear roadmap to recovery.
In addition, others love how he does not hold back when explaining procedures and rehabilitation plans.
Whether it’s a complex knee ligament tear or a persistent ankle issue, many appreciate his ability to address both acute and chronic problems.
We also appreciate how he’s adaptable and works with children. His experience with pediatric orthopaedics work at Starship Children’s Hospital is proof of this.
The only drawback was that he hardly answered his phone. Many told us they had to wait in line to be connected to him, and even then, the calls would drop unexpectedly.

We were particularly impressed by Dr. Ivan Spika’s deep expertise in knee and hip issues. His straightforward approach to patient care further solidified his reputation.
His qualifications speak for themselves. His time at the John Bartlett Melbourne Knee Fellowship has made him the best in knee arthroscopy, reconstruction, and joint replacement.
Even more impressive is his special interest in robotic knee replacements, which is part of his commitment to incorporating cutting-edge technology into his practice.
From our observations, he is grounded and has a realistic and practical understanding of orthopaedics. We like this because he can address various conditions, from sports-related injuries to complex arthritis and joint disorders.
However, we have heard complaints about delays in the actual surgical timeframe. Several told us they had to wait months before receiving the necessary treatment to alleviate their pain.

He also has extensive experience. Having completed fellowships in hand and upper limb surgery, we appreciate his refined skill set. He’s particularly good in arthroscopic procedures for the wrist, elbow, and shoulder.
Moreover, other patients with sports injuries and conditions like carpal tunnel syndrome told us Dr. Adam had given them valuable advice, helping manage the pain while waiting for surgery.
However, people did complain about his availability, particularly when trying to reach him by phone.
